Associate – Dispute Resolution
Bae, Kim & Lee is seeking an Associate for its Dispute Resolution practice at Centropolis B, Jongno-gu, Seoul. You will represent clients in complex commercial litigation before Korean courts — from Seoul Central District Court through the Supreme Court of Korea (대법원) — and in domestic and international arbitrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft complaints, briefs, and appellate submissions for commercial litigation in Korean courts
- Represent clients in construction disputes, shareholder disputes, and contractual claims under Korean Civil Code and 상법
- Prepare for and attend oral arguments at Seoul Central District Court and Seoul High Court
- Handle domestic arbitrations at the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB)
- Advise on interim relief measures including provisional attachments and injunctions
Requirements
- Korean 변호사 licence with 3-5 years of litigation experience
- Strong courtroom advocacy skills and experience with Korean civil procedure
- Knowledge of Korean evidence law and civil execution procedures
- English proficiency for international arbitration matters
