Job Description
CDH Kenya seeks an Associate for its Employment & Immigration practice. The firm advises multinational clients on Kenyan labour law compliance, work permit applications, employment disputes, and HR policy development. The practice has seen strong growth due to increasing foreign investment in Kenya's tech and extractive sectors.
Responsibilities
Advise on employment contracts, disciplinary procedures, and termination. Handle work permit and special pass applications before the Department of Immigration Services. Represent clients at the Employment and Labour Relations Court (ELRC). Draft employee handbooks and workplace policies. Advise on occupational health and safety compliance.
Requirements
Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. 2-4 years PQE in employment law, immigration, or general commercial practice. Knowledge of Employment Act 2007, Labour Relations Act, and Kenya Citizenship and Immigration Act 2011.
