Associate - Intellectual Property

Kavčič, Bračun & Partners, a well-regarded Slovenian law firm with a strong IP and technology practice, is recruiting an Associate for our Intellectual Property team in Ljubljana. You will advise clients on trademark, patent, design, and copyright matters, as well as trade secrets and unfair competition issues across the Slovenian and EU markets.

The role involves working with the Zakon o industrijski lastnini (ZIL-1, Industrial Property Act), Zakon o avtorski in sorodnih pravicah (ZASP, Copyright and Related Rights Act), and EU IP regulations including the EUTM Regulation and Unitary Patent system. You will handle registrations before the Urad RS za intelektualno lastnino (URSIL, Slovenian Intellectual Property Office), the EUIPO, and the EPO.
