Job Description
Associate – Real Estate & Construction
Allen & Gledhill LLP is hiring an Associate for its Real Estate & Construction practice at One Marina Boulevard. You will advise on property acquisitions, REITs, construction disputes, and development projects in Singapore's dynamic real estate market.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on acquisitions, disposals, and leasing of commercial and residential properties in Singapore
- Support REIT transactions including IPOs, acquisitions, and SGX compliance for listed REITs
- Draft and negotiate construction contracts, development agreements, and JV structures
- Handle construction adjudication under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act
- Advise on strata title, en-bloc sales, and Land Titles Act requirements
Requirements
- Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in real estate, construction, or REIT law
- Familiarity with the Land Titles Act, Planning Act, and Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act
- Experience with S-REIT regulatory framework is preferred
- Strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills
