Position Overview
Job Description
Noerr is seeking an Associate to join our leading Real Estate practice in Berlin. Our team advises institutional investors, real estate funds, project developers, and corporate occupiers on all aspects of real estate transactions and real estate-related regulatory matters in Germany and Central Europe.
Responsibilities
- Advise on commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, and portfolio deals
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, lease agreements, and project development contracts
- Conduct real estate due diligence including land register (Grundbuch) analysis
- Advise on real estate financing and security structures
- Support real estate fund structuring and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with notaries and public authorities on transaction closings
Requirements
- Zweites Staatsexamen with Praedikatsexamen preferred
- 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in real estate law
- Admitted as Rechtsanwalt in Germany
- Knowledge of German property law including BGB Sachenrecht and GrEStG
- Understanding of real estate financing and fund structures
- Fluent in German and English
- Experience with Grundbuch proceedings is advantageous
