Job Description

Banking & Finance Associate — Goldfarb Gross Seligman, Tel Aviv

Goldfarb Gross Seligman (GGS), a CMS member firm, is hiring a Banking & Finance Associate to join its Electra Tower practice in Tel Aviv. GGS's banking and finance team advises Israeli and international banks on complex lending, project finance, and capital markets debt transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security documents (pledges, mortgages, floating charges), and intercreditor arrangements under Israeli law
  • Advise on project finance transactions for infrastructure, real estate, and energy projects
  • Handle syndicated lending and bilateral loan facilities for Israeli banks and international lenders
  • Advise on regulatory aspects of banking transactions under the Banking Ordinance 1941 and Bank of Israel directives
  • Support bond issuances and structured finance transactions on TASE
  • Advise on fintech lending platforms and peer-to-peer lending regulatory requirements
  • Leverage CMS's global network on cross-border financing involving Israeli borrowers

Requirements

  • Israel Bar Association membership with active license
  • 3-6 years of banking and finance experience at a leading Israeli or international firm
  • Knowledge of Israeli banking law (Banking Ordinance 1941), pledge and security laws, and Bank of Israel directives
  • Experience drafting loan documentation and security packages
  • LLB from a recognized Israeli law faculty
  • Fluent Hebrew and English with strong drafting skills
  • CMS network experience or international law firm background is a plus
