Job Description

Tsar & Tsai seeks a Competition Law Associate to advise clients on antitrust compliance, merger control filings, and FTC investigations. The role involves handling matters under the Taiwan Fair Trade Act across technology, financial services, and manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on compliance with the Fair Trade Act including cartel, abuse of dominance, and unfair competition provisions; prepare and file merger notifications with the FTC; represent clients during FTC investigations and dawn raids; design and implement antitrust compliance programs; draft competition law opinions on distribution agreements and joint ventures.

Requirements

Taiwan bar admission; 3-5 years of competition law or regulatory experience; thorough knowledge of Taiwan Fair Trade Act and FTC enforcement practices; experience with merger notification filings and antitrust compliance programs; bilingual in Mandarin and English.
