Role Overview
This role will serve as a key operational partner to the Head of NA Securities Finance Compliance & Compliance Operations, supporting day-to-day compliance operations, metric reporting, centralization initiatives, evolving capabilities related to regulatory change and AI-enabled process optimization. This is a growth role offering mentorship from senior leadership and the opportunity to grow within a dynamic compliance function – ideal for a self-starter who is hungry to learn and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Support compliance operations, metric reporting, and centralization initiatives across Banking & Markets (B&M) Compliance
Support the integration of emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven analytics) and evolving regulatory requirements into compliance operations to enhance efficiency, transparency, and scalability of the control environment
Build and maintain metric dashboards and reporting in Power BI or equivalent to support leadership updates
Coordinate compliance projects and workstreams – including the Compliance Risk Assessment for B&M Compliance
Manage ongoing registration and licensing processes and serve as a resource to the Head of NA Securities Finance Compliance & Compliance Operations
Prepare and distribute the twice-monthly Compliance Connect newsletter
Proactively manage deliverables and dependencies, anticipating potential issues, escalating roadblocks in a timely manner, and driving resolution with an end‑to‑end ownership mindset.
Support additional initiatives, priorities, and responsibilities as required to ensure the effective execution and resilience of the B&M Compliance function.
Qualifications
5-6 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk, financial services, or related field
Strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI or data tools a plus
Ability to work independently, continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving, prioritize effectively, and deliver with minimal supervision
Stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
