Job Description

Banco BPI's legal department at Rua Tenente Valadim in Porto is hiring a Consultor Jurídico to support its digital banking transformation and fintech partnerships. As part of the CaixaBank Group's digital strategy, you will advise on open banking, digital identity, payments innovation, and regulatory sandboxes under Portugal's evolving fintech framework.

Principais Responsabilidades

Advise on PSD2 implementation, open banking APIs, and strong customer authentication (SCA) under EU and Portuguese regulation
Draft and negotiate fintech partnership agreements, BaaS frameworks, and digital product terms and conditions
Monitor EU regulatory developments: MiCA, DORA, and AI Act implications for financial services
Advise on RGPD (Regulamento Geral sobre a Proteção de Dados) compliance for digital banking products and customer data processing

Requisitos

Licenciatura or Mestrado em Direito; additional tech law qualification valued
Inscrito na Ordem dos Advogados; 3-6 years PQE in banking, fintech, or technology law
Understanding of PSD2, open banking, and Portuguese payments regulation
Fluent English; Spanish valued for CaixaBank Group coordination

Responsibilities
