Diretor Jurídico — Regulação e Compliance Bancário

Banco BPI (CaixaBank Group) is seeking a Diretor Jurídico to lead its Regulatory and Compliance Legal function at the bank's headquarters on Rua Tenente Valadim in Porto's Boavista district. You will oversee legal compliance with Portuguese and EU banking regulations, managing a team of legal professionals and coordinating with the Banco de Portugal, ECB Single Supervisory Mechanism, and CMVM.

Principais Responsabilidades

• Lead the legal compliance function covering AML (Lei n.º 83/2017), MiFID II, PSD2, and prudential regulation under CRR/CRD
• Advise the Board and senior management on regulatory risk, Banco de Portugal supervisory expectations, and ECB SREP requirements
• Coordinate responses to Banco de Portugal inspections and ECB on-site examinations
• Oversee consumer protection compliance under Decreto-Lei n.º 133/2009 (consumer credit) and Banco de Portugal Avisos on banking products
• Manage a team of 10+ lawyers and compliance officers; coordinate with CaixaBank Group legal in Barcelona

Requisitos

• Licenciatura or Mestrado em Direito; LLM or MBA preferred
• Inscrito na Ordem dos Advogados; 10+ years PQE with at least 5 in a senior compliance role in banking
• Deep knowledge of Portuguese and EU banking regulation (RGICSF, CRR/CRD, MiFID II)
• Fluent English and Portuguese; Spanish highly valued for CaixaBank Group coordination
