Job Description

Cobalt Latvia seeks a Corporate/M&A Associate to join its market-leading transactional practice. You will work on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings for both domestic and international clients across diverse sectors in the Latvian market.

Responsibilities

Support partners in all phases of M&A transactions from due diligence through closing. Draft share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and corporate resolutions. Coordinate with tax, competition, and regulatory specialists. Manage transaction timelines and communicate with clients on deal progress.

Requirements

Master's degree in law. 3-5 years of experience in corporate and M&A transactions. Solid understanding of Latvian commercial law and EU directives on company law. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills. Fluent in Latvian and English.
