Real Estate Associate Solicitor — DLA Piper, Manchester
DLA Piper, the world's largest law firm by number of offices, is seeking a Real Estate Associate Solicitor to join its market-leading real estate practice in Manchester. DLA Piper's UK real estate team is consistently ranked Tier 1 by Legal 500 and handles some of the largest commercial property transactions in the North of England.
You will advise institutional investors, property developers, and occupiers on a wide range of real estate matters, including commercial acquisitions and disposals, development agreements, landlord and tenant work, and real estate finance. The Manchester office is a key hub for the firm's national real estate practice and offers excellent career progression.

Responsibilities
- Advise on commercial property acquisitions, disposals, and lettings
- Draft and negotiate leases, licences, and property management agreements
- Conduct title investigations and report on title to clients and lenders
- Advise on landlord and tenant disputes, including lease renewals and break clause compliance
- Support development transactions, including overage agreements and planning obligations
- Manage post-completion registrations at HM Land Registry
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor of England and Wales with 1-3 years PQE in commercial real estate
- Strong understanding of the Land Registration Act 2002, LPA 1925, and Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
- Experience in commercial property acquisitions, leasing, and development work
- Knowledge of planning law and Section 106 agreements is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex title investigations
- Strong client relationship skills and commercial awareness
