Job Description

Erste Bank Hungary is looking for an Employment Law Specialist to manage all employment-related legal matters for the bank's Hungarian operations. The role covers individual and collective labour law, workplace compliance, and HR policy development.

Responsibilities

Advise HR and management on employment law matters including hiring, termination, and workplace policies. Draft and review employment contracts, non-compete agreements, and severance packages. Handle employment litigation and labour court proceedings. Ensure compliance with Hungarian Labour Code requirements and EU employment directives. Support restructuring and redundancy processes.

Requirements

Hungarian law degree with 4-6 years of employment law experience. Thorough knowledge of the Hungarian Labour Code (Mt.) and related regulations. Experience handling employment disputes before Hungarian labour courts. Understanding of collective bargaining and works council requirements. Fluent in Hungarian and English.
