Job Description
MOL Group is seeking an Environmental and Regulatory Lawyer for its Szeged operations to handle environmental compliance, permitting, and regulatory matters related to MOL's downstream refining and petrochemical activities in southern Hungary.
Responsibilities
Advise on environmental permits and compliance for refinery and petrochemical operations. Handle environmental impact assessment procedures and coordinate with environmental authorities. Manage environmental litigation and enforcement proceedings. Draft environmental compliance programmes and monitoring protocols. Advise on remediation obligations and contaminated land issues.
Requirements
Hungarian law degree with 3-6 years of environmental law experience. Knowledge of Hungarian Environmental Protection Act and EU environmental directives. Experience with environmental impact assessments and IPPC permits. Understanding of waste management and water protection regulations. Fluent in Hungarian and English.
