Executive General Counsel

Executive General Counsel — Vingroup, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi

Vingroup is seeking an Executive General Counsel to lead its Group Legal Division at the headquarters in Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee legal strategy across all of Vingroup's business verticals including VinFast, Vinhomes, Vinmec, and VinAI.

This is a C-suite level position at Vietnam's largest and most diversified private conglomerate, requiring a visionary legal leader with deep corporate governance and M&A expertise.

• Set the strategic direction for Vingroup's legal function across all subsidiaries
• Advise the Board of Directors and CEO on legal risk, corporate governance, and regulatory strategy
• Lead on transformative M&A transactions, IPOs, and strategic partnerships
• Manage a team of 30+ in-house lawyers and coordinate external counsel engagements
• Oversee compliance frameworks for all group companies, including securities regulations and anti-corruption
• Represent Vingroup in high-level government consultations and industry forums

• 15+ years' experience in corporate law with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record managing large legal teams (20+ lawyers)
• Deep expertise in Vietnamese corporate governance, M&A, capital markets, and regulatory compliance
• Experience with cross-border transactions and international joint ventures
