Fintech Legal Associate — Rogers Capital (Rogers Group)

Rogers Capital, the financial services and technology arm of Rogers Group, seeks a Legal Associate for its operations in Moka — the emerging smart city district that is positioning itself as Mauritius's innovation hub alongside the established Ebene Cybercity financial district. Rogers Capital operates management company services for the Global Business sector, corporate secretarial services, and technology solutions.

The Legal Associate will support Rogers Capital's management company operations under the Financial Services Act 2007, advise on fintech product development, and handle corporate secretarial compliance for client GBCs. The role sits at the intersection of traditional Global Business services and emerging fintech — reflecting Mauritius's evolution from offshore finance centre to innovation-driven financial hub.

• Support management company operations including GBC compliance and corporate secretarial services
• Advise on fintech product development and regulatory compliance with FSC frameworks
• Draft corporate documents, board resolutions, and statutory filings under the Companies Act 2001
• Research fintech regulatory developments including the VAITOS Act 2021 and regulatory sandbox
• Handle KYC/AML documentation for management company client onboarding
• Support Rogers Capital's technology solutions business with commercial contract review

• Barrister or Attorney admitted by the Mauritius Bar Council with 2–4 years' post-admission experience
• Knowledge of the Financial Services Act 2007 and management company regulatory requirements
• Interest in fintech, digital banking, and technology law
• Understanding of GBC structuring, corporate governance, and compliance
• Experience with corporate secretarial practice and Companies Act 2001 filings preferred
• LL.B. from a recognised institution with strong academic record
• English fluency required; French proficiency preferred
