Our client, a high-growth enterprise AI company, has exclusively retained Solutus Legal Search to hire its General Counsel. This is a critical hire — the legal leader who will partner with the founders and executive team to manage and oversee all legal matters, navigate a complex AI regulatory landscape, and own deal execution against some of the most sophisticated enterprise counterparties in the world. The successful candidate will report directly to the President and Co-Founder and inherit a small but growing commercial counsel function. This is a player-coach role — equally comfortable in a redline and in a board prep session — for someone who sees their job as enabling the business, not just protecting it. The role is based in San Francisco with a strong in-office culture, three days per week minimum.
