Job Description

Cathay Financial Holdings is seeking an In-House Insurance Regulatory Counsel to oversee regulatory compliance for its life and property insurance subsidiaries. You will work with the FSC and industry regulators to ensure compliance across Cathay's insurance operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee regulatory compliance for Cathay Life Insurance and Cathay Century Insurance; advise on insurance product filings and regulatory approvals; liaise with FSC on regulatory inquiries, examinations, and policy changes; review marketing materials and distribution practices for regulatory compliance; manage regulatory change projects and update internal compliance policies.

Requirements

Taiwan bar admission; 7+ years of insurance regulatory or financial services legal experience; deep knowledge of Taiwan Insurance Act and FSC regulations; experience liaising with financial regulators; understanding of insurance product design and distribution compliance; fluent in Mandarin and English.
