Job Description
Zagrebačka banka (UniCredit Group) is hiring an In-House Legal Counsel focused on regulatory affairs. You will ensure the bank's compliance with CNB, HANFA, and ECB supervisory requirements, and advise on implementation of EU banking directives into Croatian operations.
Responsibilities
Monitor and interpret new banking regulations from CNB, ECB, and EBA. Advise business units on regulatory compliance and licensing requirements. Prepare regulatory filings and supervisory reports. Draft internal policies and compliance manuals. Coordinate with UniCredit Group legal teams on cross-border regulatory matters.
Requirements
Croatian law degree. 3-5 years of experience in banking regulation or financial services law. Knowledge of CRD/CRR framework, BRRD, and Croatian Banking Act. Fluent in Croatian and English. Experience within a bank or financial regulator is strongly preferred.
