Job Description
IP & Technology Lawyer — Cabinet Bouzidi & Associés
Cabinet Bouzidi & Associés is seeking an IP & Technology Lawyer to develop the firm's intellectual property and digital law practice. Algeria's growing tech ecosystem and startup scene is creating demand for specialized IP legal services.
Missions
- Advise clients on trademark registration and protection before INAPI (Institut National Algérien de la Propriété Industrielle)
- Handle patent filings, copyright disputes, and trade secret protection matters
- Advise on data protection and e-commerce law under Algeria's evolving digital legislative framework
- Draft licensing agreements, software development contracts, and technology transfer agreements
- Represent clients in IP infringement disputes before Algerian courts
- Advise startups and tech companies on IP portfolio strategy

Requirements
Master's degree in IP Law, Technology Law, or equivalent. 3-5 years' experience in intellectual property law. Knowledge of Algeria's IP legal framework (Ordonnance n°03-07 relative aux brevets d'invention, trademark law). Familiarity with WIPO treaties and international IP frameworks. Experience with trademark registration and patent prosecution. Understanding of digital and e-commerce legal issues. Fluency in French and Arabic; English is an advantage. Interest in technology, startups, and innovation.
