Job Description

Rettur — Adalsteinsson & Partners seeks a Junior Real Estate & Construction Lawyer to advise on property transactions, construction disputes, and land use regulation. This role supports the firm's growing real estate practice as Reykjavík's property market continues to develop.

Responsibilities

Draft and review property sale agreements, lease contracts, and development agreements. Advise on zoning permits, building regulations, and environmental compliance for construction projects. Handle construction disputes including defect claims and contractor liability matters. Support due diligence for real estate investment and development transactions.

Requirements

Cand.Jur. or LL.B. degree. 1-3 years of experience in real estate, construction, or property law. Familiarity with the Icelandic Land Registry and Building Regulation Act. Icelandic fluency required; English proficiency expected.
