Job Description

Islandsbanki is hiring a Legal Counsel to support its capital markets and investment banking operations. You will advise on securities offerings, bond issuances, and stock exchange listings on Nasdaq Iceland, working with Iceland's leading financial advisory teams.

Responsibilities

Advise on IPOs, secondary offerings, and bond issuances on Nasdaq Iceland. Draft prospectuses, offering memoranda, and regulatory filings. Ensure compliance with securities regulations and market abuse rules. Support structured finance transactions and securitisation projects.

Requirements

Cand.Jur. or LL.M. degree. 4-6 years of experience in capital markets, securities law, or investment banking transactions. Knowledge of the Securities Transactions Act and Nasdaq Iceland listing rules. Fluent in Icelandic and English.
