Job Description
Vinted, Europe's largest online marketplace for second-hand fashion and Lithuania's first unicorn, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join our legal team in Vilnius. You will provide day-to-day legal support for platform operations, regulatory compliance, and commercial partnerships across Vinted's European markets.
The role involves advising on the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), Digital Markets Act (DMA), Vartotoju teisiu apsaugos istatymas (Consumer Rights Protection Law), and Elektronines komercijos istatymas (E-Commerce Law). You will support Vinted's compliance with marketplace obligations as a Very Large Online Platform (VLOP) under the DSA.
Responsibilities
Advise on Vinted's obligations under the EU Digital Services Act as a Very Large Online Platform. Draft and update platform terms of service, seller policies, and consumer-facing documentation. Advise product teams on legal requirements for new features and market launches. Support compliance with the Vartotoju teisiu apsaugos istatymas and EU consumer protection directives. Manage outside counsel relationships in multiple European jurisdictions.
Requirements
Teises magistras or equivalent law degree. 3-5 years of experience in commercial, technology, or e-commerce law. Knowledge of the EU Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act, and Lithuanian consumer protection law. Experience advising online platforms or technology companies. Fluent in English; Lithuanian is preferred.
