Legal Counsel

The Legal Counsel will act as a key business partner for Doctoralia Colombia, reporting to the Head of Legal for Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina, and enabling sustainable growth through strategic legal support, robust contractual and corporate governance oversight, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance, with a particular focus on data protection, consumer law, and digital health matters. The role requires a practical, preventive, and solution-oriented approach, combined with a strong business mindset.

Functions

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating all types of contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and business partners (including NDAs, service agreements, SaaS, among others).
• Support in corporate matters, including drafting shareholders’ meeting minutes, granting and revoking powers of attorney, and complying with corporate obligations.
• Preparation, review, and/or localization of terms and conditions, privacy policies, legal notices, and other contractual documentation applicable to the company's various products and services, as well as campaigns, promotional activities, and commercial materials.
• Review and legal validation of external communications and marketing materials, including advertising campaigns and promotional content, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations (especially in the areas of consumer protection and health regulation, where applicable) and mitigating legal and reputational risks.
• Support in regulatory compliance, particularly in the areas of personal data protection and consumer law.
• General legal advice and support to the different areas of the company (sales, product, marketing, people, finance, operations, among others), with a practical, preventive, and solution-oriented approach.
• Coordination and follow-up with external law firms, as required.
• Support on labor issues, in coordination with People and external advisors when necessary.

• Between 4 and 6 years of experience as an in-house lawyer.
• Experience in contracts and consumer law.
• Law professional with a valid professional license in Colombia.
• Advanced English (conversational and written) Required
• Experience in data protection/privacy matters is a plus.
• Experience working in the tech, SaaS, digital, or healthcare sector is a plus.
