Litigation Associate

Said Al Shahry & Partners is expanding its dispute resolution practice in Salalah, Dhofar Governorate, and seeks a Litigation Associate. Based in Salalah near the Dhofar Primary Court, you will handle civil, commercial, and property disputes across the southern region of Oman.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients before the Salalah Primary Court, Court of Appeal, and Sharia courts on civil and commercial matters
• Draft statements of claim, defence submissions, and legal memoranda in Arabic
• Handle property disputes, tenancy disagreements, and land registration challenges in Dhofar Governorate
• Advise Salalah Free Zone companies on commercial disputes and contract enforcement
• Coordinate with the Muscat head office on complex multi-jurisdictional cases

Requirements

• LLB from a recognised university; admitted by the Oman Bar Association
• 3-5 years PQE in civil and commercial litigation in Omani courts
• Strong advocacy skills in Arabic; English proficiency required
• Willingness to be based in Salalah, Dhofar Governorate
• Knowledge of Omani Civil Procedure Code and Commercial Court procedures
