Job Description

Ellex Raidla is recruiting a Paralegal for our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team in our Tartu office. You will support lawyers with case preparation, court filing, and legal research for disputes before Tartu County Court (Tartu Maakohus) and the Tartu Court of Appeal (Tartu Ringkonnakohus).

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on litigation experience at Estonia's leading law firm while based in the university city of Tartu, home to the University of Tartu's renowned law faculty.

Responsibilities

Prepare court filings and procedural documents for submission through the e-Toimik (e-File) system. Conduct legal research on Estonian case law and legislation using Riigi Teataja (State Gazette). Organize evidence and document bundles for litigation matters. Assist lawyers with hearing preparation and witness coordination. Draft correspondence with courts, opposing counsel, and clients.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in law (Oigusteaduse bakalaureus) from the University of Tartu or equivalent. 0-2 years of experience in legal support or litigation assistance. Familiarity with the Estonian e-File system (e-Toimik) and court procedures. Strong legal research and writing skills. Fluent in Estonian and English.
