Paralegal – Litigation Support at Wardyński & Partners
Wardyński & Partners is hiring a Paralegal for our Litigation Support team at our Warsaw office near Plac Trzech Krzyży. The Litigation Support team plays a critical role in managing the firm's extensive dispute caseload, which includes some of the most significant commercial disputes in Poland.
About the Role
You will provide essential support to the litigation and arbitration teams, including document management, court filing preparation, evidence organisation, and legal research. The role requires a working understanding of the Kodeks postępowania cywilnego (Code of Civil Procedure) — particularly the rules on evidence, service of process, and court filing requirements — as well as familiarity with the Elektroniczne Postępowanie Upominawcze (EPU) e-filing system.
You will manage document production for complex litigation and arbitration proceedings, maintain case files in the firm's document management system, and assist with the preparation of court submissions. This role is ideal for a law graduate or early-career legal professional seeking to build a foundation in litigation practice before or alongside aplikacja.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file court submissions in compliance with Kodeks postępowania cywilnego requirements
- Manage document production and evidence bundles for litigation and arbitration proceedings
- Maintain case files, track court deadlines, and manage hearing schedules
- Conduct legal research on procedural and substantive issues
- Assist with service of process and coordinate with court registries (biura podawcze)
- Support the team in document review for large-scale disputes and arbitrations
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in law (licencjat or magister prawa)
- 0-2 years of experience in a legal support or paralegal role
- Working knowledge of the Kodeks postępowania cywilnego and court filing procedures
- Familiarity with the EPU e-filing system and court deadlines
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Fluent Polish; good English for international arbitration document review
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with legal document management systems a plus
