Job Description

DLA Piper Budapest is seeking a Partner to lead and grow its Intellectual Property practice in Hungary. The ideal candidate will bring a significant portable book of business and expertise across patents, trademarks, copyright, and trade secrets litigation and prosecution.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the IP practice group in Budapest. Manage high-value IP litigation and prosecution matters. Build and maintain client relationships with Fortune 500 and Hungarian blue-chip companies. Supervise and mentor associates and counsel within the IP team. Contribute to the firm's strategy and cross-practice business development initiatives.

Requirements

At least 12 years of IP law experience with a strong track record of business development. Established client relationships with major Hungarian and multinational corporations. Recognised expertise in Hungarian and EU IP law. Experience managing a team of associates. Fluent in Hungarian and English; additional languages welcome.
