Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager, Regulatory Outputs & Product Intelligence based in Portugal.

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, sustainability intelligence, and regulatory compliance, shaping how global brands understand and act on environmental impact data. You will own highly visible product areas that translate complex ESG methodologies and evolving EU regulations into actionable product capabilities used by thousands of companies worldwide. The work is both strategic and hands-on, combining market analysis, customer engagement, and deep product execution. You will operate in a fast-moving environment where regulatory shifts directly influence roadmap priorities. This is a highly cross-functional role, partnering closely with sustainability experts, designers, engineers, and go-to-market teams. Your decisions will directly shape how organizations measure product impact and meet global compliance standards. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys external-facing product leadership, and wants to influence a rapidly evolving regulatory-tech space.

Accountabilities:

Own the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of regulatory and product intelligence capabilities, including Product Impact Calculator, Material Sustainability Index, Product Environmental Footprint, and Digital Product Passport initiatives.

    • Define and maintain the product vision for regulatory outputs and sustainability intelligence tools
    • Monitor global regulatory developments (EU ESPR, PEFCR updates, national frameworks) and translate them into product direction
    • Conduct ongoing customer discovery with enterprise brands, retailers, and sustainability leaders
    • Lead competitive intelligence efforts across LCA platforms, DPP providers, and sustainability analytics tools
    • Partner with GTM teams on commercial deals where regulatory outputs are a key decision factor
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and sustainability experts to deliver scalable product solutions
    • Identify opportunities for data partnerships and expand environmental footprint data capabilities
    • Requirements:

5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS environments, ideally within sustainability, supply chain, or climate-tech domains. Strong familiarity with product data systems, environmental methodologies, or regulatory-driven product development is highly valued.

      • Deep understanding of consumer goods supply chains, particularly apparel, footwear, or hard goods product lifecycles
      • Experience with LCA methodologies, product carbon footprinting, PEF, or environmental data systems
      • Proven ability to translate complex regulatory frameworks into clear product requirements and roadmap decisions
      • Strong customer-facing experience, including enterprise stakeholder engagement and solution discovery
      • Experience conducting competitive analysis and synthesizing market intelligence into product strategy
      • Familiarity with EU regulatory frameworks such as ESPR, CSRD, and Digital Product Passport requirements
      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical, regulatory, and business audiences
      • Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making capabilities
      • Benefits:

        • Competitive salary aligned with US market ranges ($120Kโ€“$150K) with bonus eligibility
        • Equity participation and incentive stock options
        • Performance-based annual bonus (up to 10%)
        • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision
        • 401(k) retirement plan with company match (up to 4%)
        • 100% paid parental leave
        • Unlimited PTO and paid holidays
        • Remote-first flexibility with global collaboration opportunities
        • Work-from-home stipends and office/home setup support
        • Strong focus on sustainability impact, mission-driven work, and career growth
