Job Description

Senior Associate – Competition Law

Drew & Napier LLC is seeking a Senior Associate for its Competition Law practice in the Central Business District. You will advise on Competition Act compliance, merger notifications to CCCS, cartel investigations, and abuse of dominance matters, serving clients across regulated and technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on compliance with the Competition Act, including Section 34 (anti-competitive agreements), Section 47 (abuse of dominance), and Section 54 (mergers)
  • Prepare merger notifications and represent clients before CCCS during Phase 1 and Phase 2 reviews
  • Conduct competition law compliance audits and dawn-raid preparedness training
  • Handle leniency applications and represent clients in cartel investigations by CCCS
  • Advise on competition aspects of M&A transactions, JVs, and distribution agreements
Requirements
  • Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore
  • 6–10 years of post-qualification experience in competition law, regulatory practice, or commercial litigation
  • Deep knowledge of the Competition Act, CCCS guidelines, and economic analysis of competition issues
  • Experience with CCCS proceedings, including merger notifications and investigations
  • Postgraduate qualification in competition law or economics is advantageous
