Job Description
Senior Associate – IP & Technology
Drew & Napier LLC seeks a Senior Associate for its preeminent Intellectual Property & Technology practice in the Central Business District. You will handle complex IP disputes, technology transactions, and data protection advisory across Singapore and the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on IP protection strategies including patents, trade marks, copyright, and trade secrets under Singapore IP legislation
- Handle IP litigation before the High Court and Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS)
- Draft and negotiate technology licensing, SaaS, and software development agreements
- Advise on compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and cross-border data transfer mechanisms
- Support TMT regulatory advisory, including telecommunications and media licensing
Requirements
- Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore
- 6–10 years of post-qualification experience in IP, technology, or TMT law
- Strong track record of IP litigation and advisory in Singapore courts
- Knowledge of PDPA, AI governance frameworks, and emerging tech regulation
- Technical background in engineering or computer science is an advantage
