Job Description
BonelliErede is seeking a Senior Associate to join its market-leading M&A practice at the firm's headquarters at Via Barozzi 1 in Milan's financial district, minutes from Piazza San Babila and the Tribunale di Milano. You will advise on complex cross-border transactions for major Italian and international clients, working alongside some of Italy's most respected dealmakers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead due diligence and draft share purchase agreements, joint venture contracts, and shareholder agreements under Italian Civil Code provisions
- Advise on Italian antitrust (AGCM) and EU competition clearance for large-scale mergers
- Coordinate with international counsel on multi-jurisdictional transactions
- Manage junior associates and praticanti on deal teams
- Present to clients and participate in negotiations
Requirements
- Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza from a recognised Italian university
- Admitted as Avvocato and registered with the Ordine degli Avvocati di Milano
- 5-8 years post-qualification experience in M&A or corporate law
- Excellent English (written and spoken); second EU language advantageous
- Experience with Consob-regulated public offers preferred
