Job Description

Ellex Klavins is seeking a Senior Banking & Finance Lawyer to advise leading Baltic and international financial institutions on complex lending transactions, structured finance, and regulatory compliance. You will lead cross-border financing deals and work closely with colleagues across the Ellex alliance in Estonia and Lithuania.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage complex banking and finance transactions including syndicated loans, project finance, and acquisition financing. Advise on regulatory compliance with FCMC and ECB requirements. Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements. Mentor junior associates and contribute to business development initiatives.

Requirements

Master's degree in law from an accredited Latvian or EU university. At least 7 years of experience in banking and finance law. Strong knowledge of Latvian and EU financial regulations. Latvian sworn advocate status preferred. Fluent in Latvian and English; Russian is an advantage.
