Senior Corporate Lawyer — Al Tamimi & Company
Al Tamimi & Company, the largest law firm in the Middle East, is seeking a Senior Corporate Lawyer to join our DIFC-based corporate and commercial team. You will advise on M&A transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and regulatory compliance across the UAE and GCC.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex cross-border M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting SPAs, and coordinating closings
- Advise on UAE Commercial Companies Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 32/2021) compliance, corporate governance, and shareholder agreements
- Structure joint ventures and strategic alliances across DIFC, ADGM, and mainland UAE jurisdictions
- Provide legal opinions on foreign ownership regulations under the UAE's Foreign Direct Investment Law
- Mentor and supervise junior associates and legal trainees within the corporate practice group

Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 7+ years PQE in corporate/commercial law, with significant UAE or GCC experience
- Admission to practice in a common law jurisdiction (England & Wales, Australia, or equivalent) or UAE Bar membership
- Strong knowledge of DIFC and ADGM regulatory frameworks
- Experience with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 32/2021 (Commercial Companies Law) and related legislation
- Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills highly desirable
- Track record of managing multi-million dollar transactions independently
