Job Description

INA — Industrija nafte d.d. is hiring a Senior Energy & Environmental Counsel to advise on upstream and downstream energy operations, environmental compliance, carbon trading, and energy transition projects. The role involves navigating Croatian and EU energy regulations.

Responsibilities

Advise on exploration and production agreements, concessions, and JOAs. Ensure compliance with Croatian environmental regulations and EU ETS requirements. Draft and negotiate power purchase agreements and renewable energy contracts. Support INA's energy transition strategy and decarbonisation projects. Manage environmental litigation and regulatory enforcement matters.

Requirements

Croatian law degree and Bar admission. Minimum 6 years of experience in energy, environmental, or natural resources law. Deep knowledge of Croatian Energy Act, Mining Act, and EU Green Deal legislation. Fluent in Croatian and English. Experience in oil and gas or renewables sector preferred.
