Job Description
ZIMRA seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to lead policy and legislative work, providing expert legal guidance on tax law reform, international tax treaties and revenue administration in Zimbabwe.
Responsibilities
- Lead legislative review and drafting of tax law amendments
- Advise the Commissioner General on complex legal and policy matters
- Represent Zimbabwe in ATAF, OECD and SADC tax forums
- Supervise a team of 6 legal officers
Requirements
- LLB plus LLM; tax law specialisation preferred
- Minimum 7 years in public sector law or revenue administration
- Experience in international tax law and OECD/African Tax Administration Forum processes
