Job Description

Boyanov & Co, one of the most established law firms in Bulgaria, is seeking a Senior Real Estate Lawyer to advise on complex property transactions and development projects. The role encompasses acquisitions, construction permitting, lease agreements, and real estate finance across Bulgaria's growing property market. Boyanov & Co provides an intellectually stimulating environment with involvement in landmark real estate deals.

Responsibilities

Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial and residential properties; Conducting real estate due diligence including title verification and encumbrance searches; Drafting and negotiating lease agreements, construction contracts, and property management agreements; Advising on land-use planning, zoning, and building permit procedures; Structuring real estate investment vehicles and advising on REIT frameworks; Coordinating with notaries, surveyors, and municipal authorities; Managing relationships with institutional real estate investors and developers.

Requirements

Master's degree in Law from a recognized university; Admission to the Sofia Bar Association with minimum 6 years of real estate law experience; Extensive knowledge of the Spatial Development Act, Cadastre and Property Register Act, and Ownership Act; Experience with commercial and residential development projects; Understanding of construction permitting and zoning regulations; Fluent English; Strong negotiation and client advisory skills.
