Telecommunications and Technology Associate — Rajah & Tann NK Legal Myanmar

Rajah & Tann NK Legal is seeking a mid-level associate to join our Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice in Yangon. You will advise telecom operators, tower companies, and fintech startups on regulatory compliance under the Telecommunications Law 2013, licensing matters with the Posts and Telecommunications Department, and data protection issues.

This role covers mobile financial services regulation, e-commerce advisory, and cybersecurity compliance under the Electronic Transactions Law 2004. You will also work on tower sharing agreements, spectrum licensing, and interconnection disputes.

• Advise telecommunications operators on licensing and regulatory compliance
• Draft tower sharing agreements, interconnection agreements, and SLAs
• Support mobile financial services licensing under CBM regulations
• Advise fintech and e-commerce companies on regulatory requirements
• Research developments in Myanmar's digital economy regulations
• Coordinate with PTD on licensing applications and spectrum matters

• LL.B. from a recognized university
• 2-4 years of TMT or regulatory law experience
• Knowledge of Myanmar Telecommunications Law 2013
• Understanding of mobile financial services and fintech regulation
• Experience with licensing applications and regulatory filings
• Strong drafting skills in Myanmar and English
• Interest in emerging technology and digital regulation
