Trainee Solicitor - Arthur Cox
Arthur Cox invites applications for its Trainee Solicitor Programme. Our training contract is widely regarded as one of the best in Ireland, offering rotations across the firm's main practice areas including corporate, banking, litigation, real estate, and employment. Trainees at Arthur Cox benefit from a structured programme that combines on-the-job training with the Professional Practice Course (PPC I and PPC II) at the Law Society of Ireland.
As a trainee solicitor, you will be exposed to high-quality, complex legal work from day one, working alongside experienced lawyers on matters for leading Irish and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Rotate through four practice areas during the two-year training contract
- Assist solicitors and partners on client matters including research and drafting
- Attend the Professional Practice Course at the Law Society of Ireland
- Participate in client meetings and business development activities
- Develop professional skills through the firm's training programme

Requirements
Requirements
- Passed the FE-1 examinations (Law Society of Ireland preliminary exams)
- Upper second class honours degree or above (law or non-law)
- Strong academic record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine interest in commercial law
- Right to work in Ireland
