Qatar Airways Group invites applications for its Aviation Law Internship within the Legal Division at Qatar Airways Tower near Hamad International Airport. This 10-week paid internship is designed for law students interested in aviation, transportation, and international commercial law. Interns will gain exposure to the legal operations of one of the world's leading airlines.

Programme Details

• Duration: 10 weeks
• Location: Qatar Airways Tower, Al Qassar, Doha (near Hamad International Airport)
• Paid internship: Monthly stipend of QAR 6,000-7,000
• Open to: Penultimate or final year law students, or recent graduates

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing commercial contracts including ground handling, catering, and IT agreements
• Conduct research on ICAO conventions, bilateral air service agreements, and Qatar aviation regulations
• Support the legal team on aircraft leasing documentation and fleet matters
• Draft legal research memoranda on aviation regulatory topics
• Attend meetings with internal departments (Procurement, Operations, HR) alongside legal counsel

• Support the Legal Division on contract reviews and research
• Complete assigned research projects within agreed timelines
• Attend internal training on aviation law and airline operations
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct
• Prepare an end-of-programme research report on an aviation law topic

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed an LLB, JD, or LLM programme
• Interest in aviation law, transportation, or international commercial law
• Strong research and writing skills in English
• Familiarity with international conventions (Montreal Convention, Chicago Convention) is desirable
• Right to work in Qatar or eligibility for an internship visa
