Banking Legal Intern — ACLEDA Bank Plc., Phnom Penh

ACLEDA Bank Plc. is offering a legal internship in its Head Office Legal Department. You will assist the legal team with loan documentation, security registration, and regulatory compliance matters, gaining hands-on experience in banking law at Cambodia's largest commercial bank.

This is an ideal opportunity for a law student interested in banking and finance law, offering exposure to high-volume transaction work and the internal workings of a major financial institution.

• Assist the legal team with drafting loan agreements and security documents
• Support the registration of mortgages and pledges at the Secured Transactions Filing Office
• Conduct research on banking regulations, NBC Prakas, and legal compliance requirements
• Help maintain the legal department's contract management database
• Assist with document review and due diligence for corporate lending transactions
• Observe loan recovery proceedings at the Phnom Penh Municipal Court

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws programme at a recognised Cambodian university
• Interest in banking law, finance, and financial regulation
• Basic knowledge of the Civil Code, Law on Secured Transactions, and Law on Banking and Financial Institutions
• Proficient in Khmer; working English preferred
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Ability to commit to a minimum 3-month internship
