Internship Description
Paid Internship — National Bank of Oman is offering a 3-month Banking Legal Internship at its Ruwi headquarters in Muscat. Interns work within the legal and credit documentation team, gaining exposure to loan agreements, security documentation, and loan recovery proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing standard loan documentation, guarantees, and security agreements
- Support the team on loan recovery case files and court documentation
- Research Omani commercial law, mortgage registration procedures, and CBO directives
- Assist in maintaining the bank's legal case management system
- Attend Muscat Primary Court hearings with supervising counsel
Eligibility
- Final year LLB student or recent LLB graduate from Sultan Qaboos University or equivalent
- Interest in banking, credit, or commercial law
- Bilingual Arabic and English; strong attention to detail
- Duration: 3 months, rolling applications
- Stipend: 200-300 OMR per month
Responsibilities
