Internship Description

The Superintendencia de Bancos de Panamá (SBP) offers a legal internship for students interested in government regulatory work. You will support the SBP's legal and supervision departments, learning how Panama's banking regulator oversees one of Latin America's most important financial centers.

Responsibilities

Research banking regulations and international supervisory standards. Assist with drafting regulatory documents and internal memoranda. Support the examination team with file organization and analysis. Attend internal training sessions on banking supervision. Help compile data for regulatory reports and publications.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in the final two years of a Licenciatura en Derecho at a Panamanian university. Interest in financial regulation and public service. Good academic standing. Spanish fluency required; English preferred.
