Corporate & Commercial Law Intern — Camilleri Preziosi

Camilleri Preziosi is offering a legal procurator training placement in its Corporate and Commercial Law department in Valletta. The internship provides practical exposure to M&A transactions, company formations under the Companies Act (Cap. 386), Malta Business Registry procedures, and corporate restructurings — giving interns a comprehensive foundation in commercial law practice at one of Malta's leading firms.

Interns will assist on live transactions, prepare company documentation, attend client meetings, and gain hands-on experience with Malta's corporate legal framework. The placement is structured to meet warranted advocate training requirements and provides a pathway to potential full-time employment upon qualification.

• Assist with company incorporations and Malta Business Registry filings
• Draft board resolutions, shareholder minutes, and corporate documentation
• Support due diligence processes for M&A transactions
• Research corporate law questions and prepare internal memoranda
• Assist with drafting commercial contracts and shareholder agreements
• Attend client meetings and transaction closings alongside senior associates

• Currently enrolled in the LL.D. programme at the University of Malta or equivalent
• Strong academic record in company law, commercial law, and obligations
• Basic understanding of the Companies Act (Cap. 386) and Malta Business Registry procedures
• Proficient in English legal drafting and Maltese
• Organised, proactive, and committed to a career in commercial law practice
• Availability for a minimum 6-month placement
