Employment Law Staj Intern — Kolcuoglu Demirkan Kocakli, Istanbul
KDK offers staj positions in its employment law practice group, one of the busiest labor law teams among Istanbul's leading firms. Staj interns gain direct exposure to employment disputes, workforce restructurings, and labor court proceedings under Turkish Labor Law No. 4857.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of employment law memoranda and client advisory notes
- Research legal questions on severance pay, termination, and workplace health and safety
- Help prepare documentation for mandatory mediation (arabuluculuk) sessions
- Attend labor court hearings with supervising avukat
- Assist with drafting employment contracts, non-compete clauses, and workplace policies
- Research comparative employment law approaches for multinational client advisory

Requirements
- LLB from a recognized Turkish law faculty
- Registered for staj with the Istanbul Bar Association
- Interest in employment law, labor relations, and social security law
- Good academic record
- Fluent Turkish and strong English
- Available for a minimum 6-month staj rotation
