Internship Description
Energy Law Internship — DFDL Myanmar
DFDL Myanmar is offering a paid 3-month energy and projects law internship at our Sakura Tower office in Yangon. Interns will gain exposure to one of the most active energy law practices in Myanmar, working on power project documentation, oil and gas regulatory matters, and environmental compliance.
This is an excellent opportunity for law students interested in energy law, project finance, and infrastructure development in the Mekong region.
Internship Details
- Duration: 3 months
- Type: Paid internship (MMK 250,000/month)
- Start: Applications accepted quarterly
Responsibilities
- Research Myanmar energy legislation and regulatory framework
- Assist with drafting memoranda on power sector regulations
- Support due diligence on energy project transactions
- Compile regulatory databases and compliance checklists
- Attend internal presentations on Mekong energy sector developments
- Assist senior associates with document review and proofreading
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in LL.B. program or recent law graduate
- Interest in energy, infrastructure, or environmental law
- Strong research and writing skills
- Proficient in Myanmar and English
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
