Energy Law Internship — ADNOC Group
ADNOC offers a competitive 3-month paid legal internship at our Abu Dhabi headquarters on Corniche Road. This is part of ADNOC's commitment to developing the next generation of Emirati and GCC legal professionals in the energy sector.
Programme Details
- Duration: 3 months (Summer 2026, rolling applications)
- Compensation: AED 5,000/month stipend (plus transport allowance)
- Status: Paid internship with structured mentoring programme
What You Will Do
- Rotate across ADNOC's upstream, downstream, and corporate legal teams
- Assist with contract review for drilling services, EPC, and procurement agreements
- Research Abu Dhabi petroleum legislation and HSE regulatory requirements
- Attend negotiations with international oil company joint venture partners
- Contribute to ADNOC's legal knowledge management database

Requirements
- UAE national or GCC national (Emiratisation programme priority)
- Currently enrolled in an LLB programme at a recognised UAE university
- Strong academic performance (minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 or equivalent)
- Interest in energy law, natural resources, or environmental law
- Bilingual Arabic and English
- Students from UAE University Al Ain, Zayed University, and Higher Colleges of Technology are encouraged to apply
