• Assist legal counsel on upstream and downstream contract review
• Research Algerian hydrocarbon legislation and international energy law topics
• Participate in contract negotiation preparation and legal opinion drafting
• Attend departmental meetings and cross-functional team sessions
• Prepare a presentation on a legal topic of relevance to Sonatrach at the conclusion of the internship

Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Law at an Algerian or international university. Focus or coursework in Energy Law, International Business Law, or Public Law. Top academic standing (top 20% of class). Fluency in Arabic and French; English proficiency required. Interest in the oil and gas sector and Algeria's energy policy. Algerian nationality (security clearance requirement). Available for 3 consecutive months during summer.
