Internship Description

CMS Budapest invites applications for an Energy Law Internship. This internship provides practical experience in renewable energy projects, energy regulatory matters, and sustainability law within one of Europe's leading international law firms.

Responsibilities

Research Hungarian and EU energy regulations and renewable energy incentive schemes. Assist with drafting power purchase agreements and energy supply contracts. Support regulatory filings with the Hungarian Energy Office (MEKH). Monitor legislative developments in energy transition and carbon neutrality. Prepare case studies and client briefing notes on energy law topics.

Requirements

Law student at a Hungarian or international university (3rd year or above). Interest in energy law, environmental law, or sustainability. Basic knowledge of EU energy policy and climate regulations. Analytical thinking and strong writing skills. Fluent in Hungarian and English.
