Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is offering its Spring Vacation Scheme 2026 for students interested in a career at one of the world's leading law firms. This two-week programme at 100 Bishopsgate provides an intensive introduction to commercial legal practice at the highest level.

The spring scheme is particularly suited to first-year and penultimate-year law students, as well as non-law students exploring a career in the legal profession. Participants experience life in the firm's practice areas and are assessed for fast-track entry to the training contract interview process.

Requirements

  • First-year, penultimate-year, or final-year undergraduate (any discipline) or GDL student
  • On track for a minimum 2:1 degree
  • Strong academic record and genuine interest in commercial law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Curiosity about international business and legal markets
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom for the duration of the scheme
